Enar Cruz
(b.1971, Costa Rica)


Enar Cruz graduated in Fine Arts in 1995, specializing in painting and engraving at the University of Costa Rica. She worked at the University for two years. In 1998, she moved to Spain, where she continues her work and studies with masters in printmaking.
In her native Costa Rica and in Spain, she has been selected for several competitions. She has had more than 19 individual expositions in Spain, the Netherlands and Costa Rica. She has participated in more than fifty collective painting and engraving exhibitions. Her work is in private and public collections in Latin America, North America, Europe and Russia.
Presently, she paints and teaches in Marbella. In her work, you can observe continuous growth in technique as well as artistic development. Her work shows her commitment to life, peace and the human search for art in every way. She uses an abstract language as well as abstract figuration. She works in mixed media, with an emphasis on acrylic, engraving and watercolors.
